About Rush1080

Callum Taylor is the director of Rush1080.

He has been involved in high level sprint training and conditioning for over 30 years.

Callum, as an athlete, has represented NZ at national and international level over 100, 200 and 400m, highlighted by National 400m honours and selection for World Championships in 1995.

He has also applied his sprint abilities to the sport of Surf Lifesaving, where he has won numerous NZ, Australian and World Beach Sprint and Flags titles.

Relocating from NZ to Sydney, Callum was able to connect with many notable coaches and institutions to further his learning and ability thus connecting up with ACT Brumbies, North Sydney Bears, Penrith Panthers, West Tigers and ultimately a stint with the Australian Wallabies.

Running various training institutions, Callum followed his love of Surf Lifesaving and took up a role with Northcliffe SLSC and then moved to the Gold Coast. It is here that he has coached many to follow in his footsteps and achieve World Championship honours.

Callum is constantly looking for new ways to bring the best out of his clients, and has sort out the best technology available.

Rush1080 was born out of this search, leading to securing the distribution rights to the cutting edge 1080 Sprint from Sweden.

Rush1080 is now taking this product to the sporting elite in both Australia and New Zealand.
